Beginning your new career you will learn:

  • Dental Theory and Terminology, Dental/Oral Anatomy, Tooth Numbering System
  • Radiology, X-ray Theory, Technique; How to take bitewing and periapical x-rays; How to develop x-rays using the automatic processor; How to mount x-rays; X-ray safety precautions
  • Dental Examinations; Charting Restorations and Periodontal Pockets; Coronal Polishing; Fluoride application; Use of the Intra Oral Camera
  • Impression and Model Trimming
  • OSHA requirements; Sterilization procedures
  • Operating autoclaves and other equipment needed to sterilize instruments and treatment areas
  • Proper image, Dress, Resume and how to prepare for an Interview
